Call for Artists & Creative's to DESIGN your own T-shirt

Get Creative: Are you a T-Shirt Designer? Or ever wanted to design a T-Shirt? Of course you have! The world’s most biggest T-Shirts ‘clothes line’ public art event is coming to the Manly (Manly Arts Festival 2009 in September). Artists & Creative's are invited to submit a T-Shirt Design to be involved in this outdoor exhibition at Manly Beach.

The theme for the Design Competition is ‘Womanly’ and aims to bring a female friendly VIBE to Manly. 'Womanly @ Manly Beach' is looking for original, funky, colourful designs. portraying a positive 'womanly' feel.
Over 100 talented artists and designers will have the opportunity to exhibit a wearable piece of art as part of the ‘Womanly @ Manly Beach’ event taking place in Manly NSW on Sunday 27 September from 9.30 – 3.30 pm.

A clothesline at the beachfront will artistically connect Manly Wharf & Manly Art Gallery & museum. You can meet the artists & buy a unique wearable piece of art! The event will tie in with the Northern Beaches Manly Arts Festival Arts Forum on that day (10 - 3 pm) in the Manly Art Gallery & Museum.

The exhibition is hosted and organised by Creative Mums www.creativemums.com.au. The Australian wide network for Mums with Creative Professions.

Sent images of your T-Shirt designs (max 3 per entry) to artsfestival@creativemums.com.au Deadline: 15 August 2009
Designs & Artworks with sexual & violent references will not be accepted.
If your Tshirt is selected you will receive a notice before 20 August 2009
The selected T-Shirts need to arrive at Creative Mums in Manly by 9 September 2009.

Printing of T-Shirts: If you are not a T-Shirt Designer/Printer – we suggest to become a member (for free) of www.redbubble.com.au and your can have your individual design or any existing artwork directly printed on a T-Shirt (for only $25) as a real professional design!
